REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT

Students who seek admission to Riverside College must enroll in person during the enrollment period and are required to abide by the enrollment schedule, and conform to the structured curriculum in terms of subject sequence and semestral or academic term load.

 

To be considered officially enrolled, a student must:

          * have submitted all required documents and credentials;

    * be able to present receipt of payment for tuition and fees; and

    * have his subject load duly approved by the Dean and duly validated by   

      the Registrar.

 

 

Freshmen Students

Freshmen students are graduates of a high school duly recognized by the Department of Education, who are applying for admission to a tertiary program for the first time.

 

Incoming students who have previously applied for admission and who have passed the admission requirements, but who were unable to enroll at Riverside College or any other tertiary institution may re-apply for admission and will be considered freshmen students.

 

 

Continuing Students

Continuing students are those who were enrolled at Riverside College in the immediately preceding semester or summer term.

 

 

Transfer Students

Transfer students are those who have earned collegiate or technical level (Ladderized program leading to a baccalaureate degree) credits from another school or university before their transfer to Riverside College.


 

Returning Students

Returning students are those who have stopped for at least one semester without securing their certificate of transfer credentials from Riverside College and enrolling in another school.

 

 

Shifting Students

Shifting students are students who wish to transfer from one program to another within the College.  They may be continuing or returning students.

 

 

Admission Requirements

 

I.  Entering Freshmen

 

  • Accomplished Admission Application Form
  • 3 pieces of 1x1 ID pictures
  • Entrance Exam Result
  • Physical Exam Results
  • Admission Slip with note “OK for enrollment”
  • DepEd Form – 138 (High School Report Card)
  • Photo copy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the Principal /Authorized Officer of the school graduated from

 

II. Transfer Students

 

  • Accomplished Admission Form
  • Certificate of Transfer Credentials
  • Letter indicating reason/s for transfer
  • Transcript of Records and Honorable Dismissal from previous school
  • Interview with the Dean/Chairperson and approval from the Dean/Chairperson to transfer to the program
  • 3 pieces of 1x1 ID pictures
  • Entrance Exam Result
  • Physical Exam Results
  • Admission Slip with note “OK for enrollment”
  • Photo copy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the Dean/Authorized Officer of the school last attended

 

III.  Returning Students

 

  • Letter requesting re-admission
  • Transcript of Records or Form 9
  • Interview with the Dean and approval of being allowed to return to the program
  • Physical Exam Results
  • Admission Slip with note “OK for enrollment”

 

IV. Shifting Students

 

  • Letter of request by student to shift to another program
  • Written approval from the Dean or Chairperson of the program allowing the student to shift to another program
  • Transcript of Records or Form 9
  • Interview with the Dean 

 

V.  For Foreign Students

 

     Admission of foreign students has been temporarily suspended.
