Employment Procedures

Riverside College offers opportunities for employment to all qualified applicants. Each employee is expected to deliver an efficient, progressive and honest service to the Institution and to promote a high level of personnel performance among his peers.

Applicants for employment are selected in accordance with the established procedures on Recruitment, Selection and Hiring, and on the basis of their qualifications, fitness and desirability for the vacant post.

HIRING PROTOCOL

•  The Department Head files a request to hire new personnel by filling an Employment Authorization Form stating job specifications, earliest date needed and other pertinent data.

•  The Department Head submits to the HR Department his request for evaluation and recommendation by the HR Head.

•  HR Department submits recommendations to the College Administrator and to the President for final approval.

•  HR Department notifies the requesting department head of the decision.

•  HR Department processes hiring of new personnel.

•  From the screened application letters, HR Department notifies applicants of the schedule of interview with HR Head and the requesting Department Head.

•  If qualified, applicant is scheduled and instructed to accomplish and undergo employment procedures; and submit requirements.

  • Laboratory Examination
  • Blood Typing
  • HBS
  • FBS
  • Urinalysis
  • Chest X-ray
  • Physical Examination
  • Psychological Testing
  • Two (2) Pieces 2x2 Colored Picture
  • SSS Number
  • Police Clearance or NBI Clearance
  • PNA (Philippine Nurses Association) Membership (for Nurses only)
  • Other requirements deemed necessary by the Management

•  The applicant is notified of his test results.

•  Selected or qualified applicants will be notified of pre-job orientations and signing of employment contract.

•  The newly hired employee is endorsed to his Department Head for induction and job orientation.

•  The newly hired employee will be notified through his Department Head when he is scheduled to undergo the HR Policies Orientation.
