Center for Research & Development
Rationale:
The Center for Research and Development in Riverside College is responsible for all undertakings that may contribute to wards the realization of the school’s vision to become the Center of Excellence in the education of health care professionals.
Aims:
For Research, the center aims to:
- promote an interactive research culture in the college;
- be recognized as a center engaged in various research activities
For Development, the center aims to:
- be the initiator of developmental activities for the Riverside College community
Functions:
- As a Center for Research
To promote awareness on research endeavors
To encourage the faculty to conduct researches
To provide assistance in the research process
To monitor the progress of existing research activities
To establish linkages with other institutions and organizations
To facilitate the needs of the researcher in terms of local, national and international funding
- As a Center for Development
To plan activities relative to the realization of the center’s aims
To coordinate with persons concerned the implementation of planned activities
To serve as a clearinghouse for developmental proposals
To recommend the implementation of the findings of the research output
