- Master in Nursing (MN)
MN is designed for graduates of Bachelor of Science in Nursing desiring to pursue higher education.
This is a 47 unit graduate course in Nursing consisting of core subjects, areas of specialization, electives, practicum and project paper. After completion of academic requirements, practicum and comprehensive examinations, graduates are able to among others use scientific knowledge as basis for quality service, teach health-related courses in Nursing schools, assume the role of managers in any health care setting, and conduct research to improve services in various fields.

BS in Physical Therapy is designed to prepare students in the rehabilitation of patients who suffer from neurological conditions and related dysfunctions. Provides direct supervision in selection and use of adaptive equipment, therapeutic activities and other activity processes in order to develop and restore the patient’s functional performance and improve mobility. He is tasked to create and implement a treatment program to assist in restoring independence, productivity, and personal and social relationships individuals disabled by illness or injury.
Physical Therapy students undergo intensive medical training in Physiology, Embryology, Neurology, Pathology and Microbiology, Kinesiology, Electrotherapy, General Surgical and Orthopedic Radiology and Prosthetics. Interns are required to undergo duty 10 months, 5 days a week on their 5th Year in College.
BS in Medical Technology trains students to become competent medical technologists. It is also a preparatory course for students who would like to proceed to medical school. Med Tech graduates of Riverside College have a good passing record in the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT).
Students of this course undergo intensive training in Hematology, Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Banking, Clinical Microscopy and Parasitology, Immunology and Serology, and Histopathologic Techniques. Internship (1,080 hours) is facilitated through the various departments at Riverside Medical Center's Clinical Laboratory.
BSN trains students to become fully-functioning nurses who can perform key competencies in various areas of responsibility. Students are given a total of 1,785 clinical/contact hours in the clinical laboratory (35 units of RLE).
In their Senior year, students undergo intensive practicum for 408 hours in various settings at the Riverside Medical Center, familiarizing them with systems, procedures, and equipment used in most modern hospitals abroad and in Manila. The internship program refines their skills in the different basic Nursing services, integrating the multiple roles of a professional nurse during actual hospital duty or in the community.
BS in Psychology Major in Special Education trains students to become teachers of individuals with special needs, Basic Education teachers, as well as human resource managers in the corporate world. Graduates get two diplomas-B.S. Psychology and Special Education.
Major focus on Special Education is partly in response to the growing movement in Western countries to require schools by law to assimilate children with special needs into regular classrooms. In this course, students receive training in Learning Disabilities, Early Intervention, Recreation and Adapted Physical Education, Guidance of Exceptional Children and Parent Counseling, and Vocational Rehabilitation.
In addition to Special Education, students undergo intensive training in Psychology and Basic Education. They are taught the different branches of Psychology, different methods and strategies of teaching, and different tools of educational measurement and evaluation.
Students of this course get hands-on training from Riverside College's pre-school facility, the Knowledge Camp, its early intervention school, the Children's Learning Center, and its Human Resource Department.
BS in Radiologic Technology trains students in the proper use and application of scientific techniques in medical imaging and therapy. Students undergo intensive clinical training in General Radiography and in various modern specialty areas: Ultrasonography, Computerized Topography Scan (CT Scan), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional Radiology, Radiotherapy, and Nuclear Medicine.
Internship (2,112 hours) is undertaken at Riverside Medical Center's Department of Radiology. Students are expected to observe, assist, and perform in at least 800 general radiographic examinations and 200 specialized radiologic procedures.

- Certificate in Pharmacy Services NC II (*NEW*)
- Certificate in Biomedical Equipment Servicing NC II (*NEW*)
Pharmacy Services NC II is a two-year, TESDA-approved program that trains students to become competent Pharmacy Assistants, highly employable in hospital pharmacies, retail pharmacies, and community drugstores.
Students are trained to read doctors' prescriptions, prepare medicines as prescribed by doctors or as requested by customers, compound or make specially formulated medications. Students are also taught stock control techniques, including procurement procedures, ordering and receiving dispensary stock, stock control systems, proper drug storage, proper stock waste disposal.
Students undergo internship (108 hours) the Riverside Medical Center Pharmacy. They also undergo community Pharmacy Internship (108 hours) with a community drugstore.
Biomedical Equipment Servicing NC II is a two-year, TESDA-approved program that trains students to become competent Biomedical Equipment Repair Aides.
Students acquire the competence to repair state-of-the-art medical equipment used at the Riverside Medical Center and in other hospitals in Manila and abroad. They also gain knowledge in digital electronics, preventive maintenance procedures, equipment set-up, installation, and testing, the ability to diagnose malfunctions, equipment repair, re-commissioning, and maintenance equipment records.
Students undergo 216 hours of advanced biomedical equipment servicing practicum at the Biomedical Equipment Department of Riverside Medical Center.

Certificate in Health Care Services is a one-year program that trains students to become competent Health Aides. Students are trained in Healthcare Assistance and undergo clinical practice for 24 hours a week.
At the end of two semesters, graduates are expected to apply basic concepts and fundamentals in health care; practice various kinds of patient care techniques used in the care of patients in various departments of the hospital and health institutions; develop skills in taking care of clients in the different developmental stages in life from birth to adolescence; and assist in the doctor's office and institutions for the handicapped and mentally retarded.
Certificate in Live-in Caregiver Program is a 6 ½-month, TESDA-approved instructional program that trains students to provide care and services to infants and toddlers, children, the elderly, and people with special needs.
Students undergo 80 hours of practicum, acquiring relevant employable skills in household settings or private institutions, whether in the Philippines or abroad.
The program adopts Canadian standards of training, as current global employment demand is highest in countries using these standards. Graduates can also rank high with job placement agencies because Riverside College is the only TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center for Caregivers in Negros Occidental.
Graduate in Midwifery is a two-year program that trains students to become competent Midwives in the care of the child, the adolescent, and the adult mother prior to, during, and following pregnancy. The passing rate of Riverside College in the national licensure examinations is 83%, way above the national average.
Students undergo practicum for 765 hours and training in Primary Health Care for 255 hours at the Riverside Medical Center and in affiliated birthing centers. The hospital also grants graduates priority to do volunteer service to help facilitate applications for work abroad.
Certificate in Practical Nursing is a two-year-and-one-summer course that trains students to become competent Nursing Assistants (NC Level II). Students are required to have finished 72 Liberal Arts college units.
Students have to accomplish a total of 1,188 training hours. They get hands-on experience in Maternity Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health, and Mental and Psychiatric Nursing. In their final semester, students undergo 162 hours of actual exposure to intensive clinical practice in various clinical areas at the Riverside Medical Center. They are expected to perform the proper care of patients and respond to emergency crisis and disaster situations.
If four years of Nursing is too long for you, with 72 units in college, in two years and one summer you can become a Practical Nurse.
Certificate in Special Education is a two-year, subject-based program to qualify a professional to work with special children and youth. A completion of 30 required units with corresponding competencies is necessary to be awarded the Certificate in Special Education.
At the end of the program, the individual is expected to: gain understanding of the nature of the different exceptionalities; assist in the facilitation of educational and guidance placement; aid in the implementation of programs like An Early Intervention Program, Professional Development for teachers and staff, and Parent Education; assist teachers in the setting up of the classroom and preparation of the materials needed by the students with special needs; increase commitment in special education programs; and become an advocate to empower parents and community members to support the Special Education program.
