Health Care Services NC II
Program Description
This is a 1-year program designed to equip the student with the necessary competence, knowledge and skills expected of a health care provider.
Program Objectives
At the end of two semesters, the graduates are expected to:
- apply the basic concepts fundamental of health care;
- practice various kinds of patient care techniques used in the care of different kinds of patients in the various department of the hospitals and health institutions;
- develop the skills to take care of clients in the developmental stages of life – from birth to adolescence; and
- assist in the doctor’s office and clinics and in institutions for the handicapped and mentally retarded.
