Future in Physical Therapy

Statistics show that there are only 186,000 practicing PTs in the USA. This number is actually quite small compared to registered nurses who have a total population of 2,909,467 and counting. This only means that job opportunities as a physical therapist are knocking on your door right now.

Just this January 2011, 380 examinees successfully passed the licensure examinations for Physical Therapy. In July 2011, another 506 were given licenses to work as PTs.
