Course Description

The Master in Nursing Program is a 47-unit and non-thesis post-graduate course which consists of core subjects, areas of specialization, elective, practicum and project paper.  The s should pass the comprehensive examination, enroll the project paper subject and should successfully defend his /her paper before a panel to complete the requirement for graduation.

The MN program reinforces nurses’ professional experience with new skills, knowledge and attitude, intensifies the development of critical thinking and judgment, the understanding of health systems and socio-political and economic issues, interdisciplinary care and public health in a variety of health care settings so they can render quality service based on concepts and techniques. The program also prepares the graduates for scholarly inquiry, independent research, and leadership in the healthcare arena.

With the current educational and employment situation in the country, professional nurses who want to pursue a career in management and administration are encouraged to take this course.
